The Heal Stone is a site-specific outdoor installation by a British artist, Haroon Mirza. The artist is best-known from his manipulation of electricity that creates visual and sonic experiences. The Heal Stone deals with the notion of history, memories, and wellbeing. It is inspired by Kuti Rusri, a historical ruin which functioned as a public hospital during the regime of Jayavarman VII of the 12^th century Khmer Empire. Mirza is impressed by the vision of the emperor who would like to create a healthcare system for his subjects and travelers alike. To bring about the discussion of public healthcare to the forefront, Mirza sets up a solar array on a stone to generate electricity and send electrical signals to submergible speakers in the pool in the hospital complex. The speakers vibrate signals based on frequencies that are being studied for therapeutic properties against Alzheimer’s, which underline the relationship between memories and forgetfulness. The Heal Stone เป็นผลงานศิลปะจัดวางเฉพาะพื้นที่ โดยศิลปินชาวอังกฤษ ฮารูน เมียรซา เขาเป็นที่รู้จักจากการใช้ไฟฟ้าเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์ด้านภาพและเสียง The Heal Stone เกี่ยวข้องกับประวัติศาสตร์ ความทรงจำ และความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของมนุษย์ ศิลปินได้แรงบันดาลใจจากกุฏิฤๅษี (Kuti Rusri) ซากปรักหักพังทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่เคยเป็นอโรคยาศาลาในศตวรรษที่ 12 สมัยพระเจ้าชัยวรมันที่ 7 แห่งอาณาจักรขอม เมียรซาประทับใจในวิสัยทัศน์ของกษัตริย์ ที่ต้องการสร้างระบบสาธารณสุขสำหรับประชาชนและนักเดินทาง เมียรซาติดตั้งแผงโซลาร์เซลล์บนก้อนหินเพื่อผลิตกระแสไฟฟ้า และส่งสัญญาณไฟฟ้าไปยังลำโพงใต้น้ำในสระของตัวอโรคยาศาลา ลำโพงจะสั่น และส่งสัญญาณบนคลื่นความถี่ที่นักวิทยาศาสตร์กำลังทำการศึกษา ว่ามีคุณสมบัติในการรักษาโรค         อัลไซเมอร์ ซึ่งส่วนนี้ช่วยเน้นย้ำให้เห็นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความทรงจำและการหลงลืม ศิลปินปรารถนาให้ผลงานช่วยสร้างความรับรู้เกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการด้านการพัฒนาสาธารณสุขและสาธารณูปโภคเพื่อความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น ผลงานชุดนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากภาควิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลอีสาน
